MPC’s Metalphoto Labels and Tags are our most durable and popular solution for labels and tags, with graphics sealed beneath a sapphire-hard anodic layer, creating an impenetrable surface. Our Metalphoto labels and tags sustain an expected exterior life of 20+ years even under extreme conditions including heat, humidity, long-term exposure to weather, UV and other outdoor conditions, salt spray, abrasion, industrial solvents, chemicals and more.
Metalphoto’s exceptional durability makes it a preferred material for many military standards and aerospace applications. Additionally, the National Association of Graphic and Product Identification Manufacturers (GPI) Industry Standards and Practices Manual identifies Metalphoto photosensitive anodized aluminum as the most durable printed aluminum substrate available, citing its applicability for extreme environmental conditions and outdoor exposure.
- Foil Metalphoto labels are available in .003”, .005” and .008” thicknesses.
- Rigid Metalphoto labels are available in .012” to .125” thicknesses.
