Options for Heavy-Duty and Light-Duty Applications

MPC offers a wide variety of material options to meet the requirements for any label or tag application.  From the industrial durability of metal options to plastic and polymer options, we have the experience and expertise to create a label solution that will stay affixed and readable through the entire life of your part, regardless of the conditions it will face.

Label Material Options

Along with common label materials, MPC also offers Metalphoto®, which the National Association of Graphic and Product Identification Manufacturers (GPI) Industry Standards and Practices Manual identifies  as the most durable printed aluminum substrate available.  The image is sealed below the surface of the label, creating an impenetrable barrier to sunlight, water, salt, dirt, chemicals, solvents and temperatures up to 650°F, as well as giving Metalphoto labels an outdoor life of over 20 years.

Metal Labels and Tags

Our most durable and popular material, metalphoto nameplates and data plates are the preferred choice for environments requiring extreme durability.

An ideal choice for use in the aircraft/aeronautical, automotive, marine and military industries, with anodized surface with a virtually impervious protective finish to protect data.

No need to replace another failed label. Get the durability of metal in a foil thickness.

Designed to withstand the harshest environments, and remain readable for the life of your equipment or asset.

MPC’s custom metal labels are manufactured to contain whatever information your label requires – from bold text to detailed schematics to variable barcoded data.

Made of Metalphoto® photosensitive anodized aluminum, our most durable and popular material; contains microtext and elements with photographic qualities similar to those found in passports, identification cards and currency.

Constructed of Metalphoto® photosensitive anodized aluminum, our instructional labels are used in applications where permanent product or process identification is critical.

Rating plate labels identify a piece of equipment’s manufacturer, serial/model number, date of manufacture, load rating, electrical specifications, operating/maintenance instructions and other required data.

Available in metal or plastic, MPC’s compliance tags are typically constructed of Metalphoto® photosensitive anodized aluminum for applications where permanent product or process information is critical.

Just write your information in the blocks you specificed using any permanent marker or paint pen. When you’re ready to change or update the information, simply wipe clean with isopropyl alcohol, and write in your new information.
