MPC offers a wide variety of material options to meet the requirements for any nameplate or data plate application.  From the industrial durability of metal options to plastic and polymer options, we have the experience and expertise to create a nameplate solution that will stay affixed and readable through the entire life of your part, regardless of the conditions it will face.

Nameplate Material Options

Along with common label materials, MPC also offers Metalphoto®, an extremely durable photosensitive anodized aluminum substrate.  The image is sealed below the surface of the label, creating an impenetrable barrier to sunlight, water, salt, dirt, chemicals, solvents and temperatures up to 650°F, as well as giving Metalphoto labels an outdoor life of over 20 years.

Metal Nameplates

Our most durable and popular material, metalphoto nameplates and data plates are the preferred choice for environments requiring extreme durability.

An ideal choice for use in the aircraft/aeronautical, automotive, marine and military industries, with anodized surface with a virtually impervious protective finish to protect data.

A lightweight yet strong material that is easily formed, aluminum is a popular choice for data and nameplates for its machinability and versatility.

A dense metal with exceptional resistance to chemicals and corrosion, ideal for marine, heavy industrial and food processing applications.

Known for its rich color and beauty in decorative applications. A popular choice for high-end retail and commercial displays, as well as applications requiring outdoor durability.

Plastic Nameplates

High tensile strength makes it ideal for printing, die-cutting and embossing.

High mechanical strength and superior optical clarity, these nameplates and data plates are used often in product identification, packaging and general labeling applications.
